Lawn:

If your starting a new lawn or only trying to improve on an existing one then we have anything you need to take care of it.  We carry Cottage and Shamrock Grass seed from the Sweeney Seed Co.  These are two premium blends that the Sweeney Seed Company developed multiple tests in our area.  These blends are designed to come up quickly and lush in order to make your yard beautiful. 

In order help your lawn in the spring we carry a large line of fertilizers and other products to give your yard that boost.  We carry 12-12-12, 22-5-10, and other fertilizers in order to green up your lawn.  We also carry Weed N' Feed and Nutro Lime to help with broadleaf weeds and sweeten the soil.  Don't forget the pesky moles that ruin the yard we carry several different types of poisons for the moles.  We also carry Triazicide and Milky Spore which both products help get rid of the grubs and other insects those moles are feeding on.  If your looking for pricing or any other info email us at johnstonelevator@yahoo.com or give us a shout at 989-386-7271.

**Please note we carry some other fertilizers depending on the season including, crabgrass preventer and weed N' feed.  When looking at the numbers of your fertilizer the first number is percent nitrogen, then percent phosphorus, and then percent potash.  The rest is inert material.  Early season high nitrogen and later season high phosphorus and potash.**

Garden:

In the spring we order and carry a large variety of garden seeds.  We have anything from carrots, onion sets, cucumbers, potatoes, and much more.  If you are looking for something special we might be able to order it, but we suggest you stop in and check yourself.

Food Plots:

With the ban on deer baiting, it is important for a good hunter to have a food plot.  The food plot is essential in bringing deer to the area and helps keep the deer around during hunting season.  We offer many different types of clover, rye, wheat, buckwheat, rape seed, and soybeans for early in the planting season.  We also carry winter peas, turnips, and kale.  The best option is to buy these early and talk to our staff.  Most of the employees here are avid hunters in the Clare area and have used these products.  Remember it is better to check and get these products early.
